Read the room in Lever Liar

Lever Liar · A practical starting point

Lever Liar: actual running game, showing the board and controls
The game’s own board and controls. The points below refer to these mechanics.

The rule to keep in mind

Lever Liar moves the lie onto the controls. Each level has levers and switches with stickers that claim what they do — open the bridge, stop the spikes, unlock the exit — and some of those stickers are lying. Pull the right lever and the path opens; pull the wrong one and the level tells you, loudly, that the lever lied. It is a short-session corridor platformer from the Liar Series, with 40 levels and the same honest anchor as the rest of the series: spikes never lie.

Start with the constraint

Pull a lever from a safe spot first and watch the room before you commit to a jump.

Make one useful change

Stickers that repeat a rule from the intro line are worth suspecting.

Keep a way back

Floor switches count as levers too.

The death replay shows which lever you trusted.

Controls and a safe pause

Move with the arrow keys or A / D. Jump with Up, W or Space. Pause with Esc or P, restart with R. On-screen move pads appear at bottom left and a jump pad at bottom right on touch devices.

Open the game’s menu to pause and find its save tools. This game has no export tool; keep browser data to retain its progress. If a step feels unclear, return to the rule and the current goal rather than rushing.
