Keep an exit before closing the loop

Loop Duel · A practical starting point

Loop Duel: actual running game, showing the board and controls
The game’s own board and controls. The points below refer to these mechanics.

The rule to keep in mind

Your trail stays behind you. A wall, obstacle or either trail ends your run; simultaneous crashes are a draw.

Start with the constraint

Count the open space ahead of your turn. A narrow corridor can be safe now and trap you later.

Make one useful change

Watch the rival’s visible head and trail. Leave room for your next turn rather than following it into a corner.

Keep a way back

Challenge progress and duel victory are separate: meeting a safe-step goal can pass the challenge even if the rival survives longer.

Controls and a safe pause

Arrow keys / WASD or touch arrows turn once per step. Pause stops the duel; Resume continues explicitly. Settings & rules contains save import and export.

Open the game’s menu to pause and find its save tools. Save a backup before clearing browser data. If a step feels unclear, return to the rule and the current goal rather than rushing.
