Close a small area before stretching the trail
Zone Weave · A practical starting point

The rule to keep in mind
Leave your territory and reconnect to enclose neutral cells. An exposed trail can be cut, sending you back to safety while keeping acquired territory.
Start with the constraint
An open loop does not capture land. Cells still connected to the board edge remain neutral.
Make one useful change
Short excursions reduce the time your trail is exposed. Acquired territory gives you new safe starting points.
Keep a way back
A cut resets the exposed excursion rather than erasing all your land. Recover from the safe cell and choose a new boundary.
Controls and a safe pause
Arrow keys / WASD or held touch arrows move; Wait stops. Pause freezes both runners and the round timer.
Open the game’s menu to pause and find its save tools. Save a backup before clearing browser data. If a step feels unclear, return to the rule and the current goal rather than rushing.
